Press 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. After your PC restarts, you’ll see a list of options. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.ĥ. Under Advanced startup, select Restart now.Ĥ. Select Update & security, then click on Recovery. If that doesn’t work, click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen, then select Settings. Press the Windows logo key + I on your keyboard to open Settings. You will have to use the full password.ġ. You cannot use a PIN to log in to your account in Safe Mode.
